During a new interview with The New York Times, the profile piece touched upon Pattinson"s chapter with The Batman franchise ahead of The Batman - Part II starting filming in 2025. While discussing the sequel"s 2026 release and the fact that a third film is planned, Pattinson stated, “I could genuinely be retiring by the end of them.” The statement seems to be more of a cheeky comment on how long each film takes from development to release than an actual update on his DC movie future.
