Superman & Lois Introduces Jimmy Olsen Via Giving Him A Conflict With Clark Another Exciting Jimmy Olsen Comes To Live-Action While the DC series follows a Superman who has been active for decades, it made the decision to move the Kent family from Metropolis to Smallville in its first episode. This made it difficult for Superman & Lois to explore Clark Kent and Lois Lane"s life at the Daily Planet.
