Season 4 touches on the characters" past quite a bit, as Lex Luthor, its main villain, has been holding a grudge for almost two decades. Now, Superman & Lois" latest episode introduced a major character from DC Comics, and he allowed the show to tap into Clark Kent"s past.
Superman & Lois Introduces Jimmy Olsen Via Giving Him A Conflict With Clark Another Exciting Jimmy Olsen Comes To Live-Action While the DC series follows a Superman who has been active for decades, it made the decision to move the Kent family from Metropolis to Smallville in its first episode. This made it difficult for Superman & Lois to explore Clark Kent and Lois Lane"s life at the Daily Planet. Because of that, Superman"s best friend from the comics, Jimmy Olsen, was nowhere to be seen for most of the show. Thankfully, Superman & Lois season 4, episode 7, managed to see the debut of Douglas Smith as Jimmy Olsen.
