The amphibious Nina Mazursky is clearly the most kindhearted of all the Creature Commandos" members, making her the most cold-headed but also the weakest link in their missions. In the Creature Commandos season 1 finale, after mourning G.I. Robot"s self-sacrifice and witnessing a few traumatic events, Nina took it upon herself to finish her team"s mission and kill Princess Ilana Rostovic. Unfortunately, the Princess of Pokolistan fought back, killing Nina.
Speaking to ScreenRant at the SXSW 2025 premiere of The True Beauty Of Being Bitten By A Tick, Creature Commandos star Zoe Chao addresses the possibility of having Nina Mazursky return in a future DCU project. Chao compares James Gunn"s creative freedom to that of The True Beauty Of Being Bitten By A Tick director Pete Ohs, both of whom like to "(keep) the door open." Zoe Chao says:
