In Marvel Comics, Knull is a primordial deity who was dubbed the "King in Black" by early Celestials. He once ruled over a cosmos of darkness, and now wants to bring that darkness back to the universe. This could also be Knull"s goal in Venom: The Last Dance, and if he succeeds, the Earth of Sony"s Spider-Man Universe could very easily be destroyed, especially since there is only Venom to oppose him, rather than a team of formidable superheroes.
