Jensen Ackles suits up as the next live-action Batman for James Gunn"s DC Universe through a new The Brave and The Bold concept trailer. While it may be some time until the Caped Crusader shows up, the DCU"s Chapter 1: "Gods and Monsters" is actively working on The Brave and The Bold, which will focus on Bruce Wayne as he discovers the existence of his biological son, Damian Wayne. Even though casting has yet to begin, many fans have made it clear who some of their top candidates are for the titular role in The Brave and The Bold.
As Ackles continues to be one of the top fan choices to play Batman in the DCU franchise, Smasher recently shared a new concept trailer for the upcoming The Brave and The Bold film. Whether or not DC Studios is getting closer to casting their new Batman remains to be seen, but it seems Ackles will at least be considered for the role whenever this casting begins to be approached. Hopefully, more updates on The Brave and The Bold will start to emerge sooner rather than later.
